Finally ... A New Song from Tracy

"Tracy has a new song?! That cannot be true", I said to myself. It has been a long three years and I have almost given up hope. Then again, life is always full of surprises...

I received this piece of news from RyaN, an ardent fan of Tracy's. Asking me if I have heard of "Making Love", a song by Tracy that can be found in "Love is the Answer". Incidentally, all fifteen songs in the CD form part of an AIDS charity project between the KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) and Music & Movement (Lim Sek).

I e-mailed RyaN, and he was kind enough to reply. Subsequently, I managed to get hold of the song from him, and I spent the rest of the hour immersed in that beautiful number.

That evening, I went on an active search for that elusive CD. I wasn't raising my hopes too high. After all, most CDs released by Tracy has been difficult to find in the past, they always get snapped up before I could say Jack Robinson.

Just when I had given up hope, I went into HMV at City Link. And I could not believe my eyes when I found the CD at the store. A choice of two colours: pink and blue. Blue being my favourite colour, I did the obvious.

"Making Love" is a song delivered in a very beautiful manner by Tracy. Her voice is soft, yet powerful. There is now an rediscovered inner strength that was not present in some of her recent English recordings. The downloaded sample version, available on this site, does not do full justice to the song.
